Maybe your right smiley. I just found it weird that Reptile, the eternal lackey stood up to Liu Kang and said that he doesn't serve Tsung. Although I doubt Reptile has his own agenda because the Series has proven time and time again that Reptile needs to have a master to keep his sanity in check. Personally I think Reptile said that because of something in his MK2 ending about learning that Tsung was going enslave the remainder of his race (Like it mattered, Kahn eventually slaughtered them anyway.) So Reptile had at that point turned against Tsung but still served Kahn (and ignorant to the fact that Kahn had slain his race.)[/quote]

Well if it does end at MK3 that explains Sub Zero's scar that suddenly appears in a couple of the screnshots (I hope they show how he got it  )

Sub-Zero was marked for death by the Lin Keui. That was how he got the scar.

Thats the point about that statement 'Marked for Death' it doesn't necessarily mean that you have a physical mark its more like a target

Sub-Zero got the scar since MK3, when the Lin Kuei started to automize their warriors. Sub-Zero (along with Smoke) left the clan for this reason becasue they didn't want to get automated. Smoke was captured and automated, but S-Z escaped and got "marked" for death. I take this literrally, and I believe this since it is the most logical explanation available. He had this scar until MKD where his new-acquired medallion most likely healed the scar.

I have never thought that this scar means anything. We΄ll probably never know the truth.
But maybe midway only forgot in Deception that he should have any scar

The scar's still there on renders but it is barely visable... well just have to wait and see

Jay: Today I watched Oficial movie 5. You can see Sub-Zero and he has his scar (during MK2!). This means that the scar has nothing to do with the automation process from MK3.

That scar wasn't in MK2! It must be a mistake. But....if it is for real, then they should definitely explain its origin in MKSM
