No, it makes sense that he wne tback to human like. Reptile's devolution was cuased from not being around his own people, and this mad him go bonkers and revert to his more primal state. But because Onaga took over his body, it was like Reptile was constantly near another one of his own species, therefor when Sindel got rid of Onaga Reptile was able to revert back into his human looks.

But Onaga isn't originally Dragon-like. It's because of being in Reptile which made Onaga look reptilian. But then again, I could be wrong.
Either way, Onaga isn't of Reptule's species AND Onaga isn't the matriach of Reptile's race, so this doesn't explain why Reptile went back to being human.

And if he would turn human again, where would he get his ninja uniform? Because in DA he had no ninja uniform and no mask, but after defeating Onaga (Sindel΄s bio), he has ninja uniform and mask. He should be either naked or in DA uniform.

Reptile did have his ninja outfit in DA - it was his primary and he didn't have a mask. Also, we couldn't see Reptile's face in Sindel's ending, so we don't know if he was wearing a mask or not.

Well, Onaga is the Dragon King, and a Dragon fits into the Reptilian category, so I guess that Onaga really was the Zateran matriarch. In sindel's ending, the Dragon King's former body looks alot like the one he has now too, so I dont think he looks the way he is because of Reptile's body. Another thing to point out is that the realm of Zatera was only destroyed when Shao Khan rose to power, and as we all know, Onaga ruled Outworld before Shao Khan slew him. From this evidence I have gathered that Onaga ruled over Zatera too (after all, where else would a giant dragon-humanoid appear from?) as their matriarch until Shao Khan overthrew him and destroyed the realm.

well then if thats the case, maybe Reptile's race only ever stayed humanoid while they had a ruler (which explains why Reptile was human during the first two tournaments as his ruler was Shang Tsung then Shao Khan). And Reptiles's race wasnt killed off at the End of MK3, from what ive gathered the race was destroyed by Shao Khan when he conquered the realm of Zatera. Reptile never knew of his race, he only ever longed to learn about them around the thrid game which is when he DISCOVERED they were destroyed. Only after his discovery he started to change

In Mortal Kombat the originial characters are usually the characters that people like the most. They wouldn't kill of Liu Kang. So Reptile wont be killed off.

True but many people like Rain and he has been completely forgotten about in MK. Boon and his staff aren't sticking to what they use best, they know that classic characters like Rain and Kintaro had a big fanbase but they never bothered with them. Goro is a classic, so is Raiden, Sub-Zero and Scorpion. All the fans love them but the main reason they are still in the game is because the staff like them. What im trying to say is, Boon and his staff tends to forget about likeable fighters. Never say never, Reptile could easily be gone.

Rain appeared in UMK3 and MKt, and had the same moves/story/etc in them so why would he have such a huge fan base? I mean, he had good moves, but they weren't THAT great.
And I have a new question about Reptile: Is his blood just green or is it acid?
