OK! Hold the phone cause Im stuck here and I need someone to help me on this! Has anyone noticed that you can get items in konquest mode that have NO apparent use whatsoever? If they do have a use could somebody let me know because I have the throwing star, the key from the body in the Netherealm and "the mysterious key" thats a complete enigma to me!
Another topic I wanted to raise was just to see if any other kombatants out there agree with me. Do you fight better depending on the costumes your fighter is wearing? Its wierd I loose every battle with Ermacs default but am unstoppable in his alternate! Same with Shukinko, Jade, Scorpion, Noob-Smoke and Sub-Zero! Its the opposite way with Mileena and Baraka I only fight well in their default costumes! I know that sounds weird. Just thought Id see if anyone else has the same dilemma

to be honest i have never really toook any notive.about the items i heard somewhere that it had been comfirmed that they are useless.they had to rush decption so they couldnt make a use for all the items

me too noobsaibot5 i am unstoppable with jade,scorpion,baraka,darrius,sindel,noob and suck on thier default and im good with:
millena,subzero,tanya,shujinko,goro,shao kahn,smoke on their defauat and i suck on them on thier alt

So its not just me.....cool! Do you think that the costumes affect the fighters? Or do we fight better in costumes that we think look good?

Really? If you're in a different costume you feel different? Well it makes no difference when I use Scorpion's MK4 outfit. But when it comes to Jade I never use her MK3 outfit , I like her in her primary costume. =3

but if you were to wear her MK3 outfit you wouldnt fight as well as you do in her primary. Try it, you might notice the difference

I notice this too. When ever I use a character that has an old school outfit (Scorpion, Jade, Ermac, Lui Kang) And when I use them in the old school style i always do better. I think it just kicks in that 2-D primal rage.
