we can only hope that somewhere an mk exec is reading this and saying god damn it their right we've been blinded by technology and forgot our roots and then they devolve mk back to 2d where it will be like street fighter and never truly evolve to 3d but has had its 3d moments.......or not!

Omg, guys get over it. U will see Reptile as a ninja in MKSM.....
And with Sindel's ending, it looks like Reptile will be human again for a future MK installment.

the deal is i'm a freak with too much time on my hands that cries when they fuck around with classic characters can you remember first seeing reptiles fatality? it sorta loses impact when the guys a fucking lizard to start with so thats the deal

Seriously I think Jay has a point, build a bridge and get over it. Dont get me wrong, Reptile's my favourite character and I loved his MK2 look, but people change and obviously he has. If you were a REAL reptile fan you wouldnt care how he looks. He still has all his attacks and his original fatality so why is it such a big deal if he has turned into a lizard? Altough I like the MK2 look, personally I think the new look suits him. If he was to stay in his first ever costume he would look pathetic. If I was you I'd be grateful Midway even put him into DA!

I my self have put it to one side and get on with life (well I do kinda hope they don't keep him as a proper lizard) but its no point in telling Shujinko Unleashed to build a bridge and get over it, he will constantly be upset over this, he's always like it when they change things like this. Especially when it comes to classics like reptile. You should hear him about Final Fantasy X and X-2.

Well those games are brilliant, FFX was a masterpiece and X-2 was just plain terrible I couldnt believe I payed 50 euro for that game! Back to the subject, I love reptile but all the characters change at some point.

yeah, i miss Reptile in his ninja costume. maybe in MK 7 though. i sure hope so! Ed Boon, if you're reading this... Reptile in ninja costume in MK 7. if not as his primary costume, then at least as his alternate costume, like they did with sub zero in MK-DA!
EDITED: on second thoughts, after seeing some screenshots from MK-SM, i like reptile's look in SM. it's the best of both his ninja costume and his reptile form. it's almost as if it's perfected! yay, MK team! you go, guys!

yes but by "ninja" people refer to his MK2 look. I like his new look, I think his human form suited him best in earlier titles but I would be extremely happy to see him in his human ninja look in future games

Yes but if you look above Reptile, a soul is floating above his body. It could mean he is dead, so dont be certain that he will return.
