Post subject: Question about the MK ninjas as of recent. |

Lately, somebody asked me this question relating to the recent MK games (MKDA & MKD). He asked, "Why couldn't all the ninjas use Ninjustu for a fighting style?" I tried answering it and said, "So that they wouldn't play exactly the same." However, he doesn't seem to buy it. I was wondering if there's a better answer to his question, or if I should just forget about him.

That guy won't get it unless he buys the MK game. Then he should work out the various fighting styles.

Why do you think Ed Boon made the 3 fight style system, at least for the ninjas to have their own fighting moves like Scorpion's Hapkido or Sub-Zero's Shotokan, Noob-Smoke's Monkey and Mitzu moves. Back then when they were doing it 2D style they had same looks and same moves but different weapons, just my opinion.

How about because they are not real ninjas! Ninja in the real world come from one tradition MK ninjas have different clans with different traditions so they wopuld not use the same fighting style.

Okay. I'm gonna' try to get a hold of that guy when I have the chance. If he's still doesn't buy it, then I'm just gonna' leave him be. Thanks for the help though, you guys.

I just think that back in the 1990's, I don't really think they were exactly lazy to do something about it...Y'know maybe they just wanted to kill time...By just using the same motion-capture actor for the same ninja...and then just recoloring the ninja clothes with a different color, Hence Sub-Zero=Blue,Scorpian=Yellow,Ermac=Orange,Rain=Purple,and Noob Saibot=Dark Black and So on and so forth. I think he should probably (if he has the time and money)to consider buying an old game console (eg Genesis or Super Nintento)(Most preferably the Genesis) and actually play the games. And after doing that probably play the newer ones(MK:DA/MK:D) That way someone will figure something out...
