i just got mat2 and when i do the start down thing when dan fordenappears in the portal level it doesn't work and in mk3 how do you unlock smoke?

Well, first of all, you cannot access Smoke in MK2 with MAT2, since MAT2's in game pause feature overrides the "start" of MK2. So your SOL. About MK3, you just type in a code to unlock Smoke. To get this screen, just lose. Then it will tell you to enter a code. This can be found on this site I believe.
