"I am Reptile, faithful servant of Shao Khan. After I discovered the manipulative Vampire, Nitara, had been partly to blame towards my master's demise, I searched Outworld day and night until I caught her scent in a magma chamber. Following ancient phropecy, the Dragon King was born using my body as a catalyst. I felt a surge of power in my body like never before. It was after his defeat at the hands of the warrior Shujinko that my body was free from his control. My body de-evolutionised back down to my human form, curing my fits of insanity and sharpening my mind. However, another of my race has passed knowledge onto me of my former race of Raptor. How dare this "Khameleon" attempt to lure me away from my master! I will slay all who oppose the might of Shao Khan, even if it means the extinction of my people"

"Onaga may have been the king of the Raptor, but he sparred no kindness towards the remaining few he could locate. The small number left of my race have been in hiding for the past few decades here in Outworld, relativley unknown and living in peace. But Onaga forced my people into slavery. I managed to escape before capture. Upon the death of the Dragon King, I had heard Shao Khan was alive in Outworld. If he invades Onaga's stronghold, my captive people will be slain, as they know the one big secret Shao Khan's been trying to hide for years. I must save them from certain death. I intend to locate Reptile and inform him of his masters plan to wipe out our people. But for now, I must rescue my people"
