most mk fans(including myself)really want rain to return in another mk game. but i think theres one thing we are overlooking. we dont know a lot about him,if his fifhting styles will be good or what his storyline will be.anyone else agree??

I would like to see Rain return... ONLY and ONLY if the MK team has a good reason for him to return, and not some bullshit story.

I think alot of fans would welcome his return. As for fighting styles, Aikido and Jeet Kun Do would be ideal for him, along with the Quadspade as his weapon

hmmm do you think Rain's story back then in MK3 didnt come true? This would explaing why he still works for Kahn, oh yeah im basing what I said on Konquest from MKD.

Rain would be interesting to play. But he is only one of a handful of characters that need to comeback in 3D.

It wouldnt be a problem giving Rain a good fighting style, sure when they ran out of fight styles in Deception they made some up (e.g Crab, Oni, Netherealm) so im sure he could have one like "Edenian" or something

I wouldn´t mind Rain at all if he made a return. As long as they change his outfit. He had interesting powers.

I agree with you. In deception they where missing some styles though such as Crane etc etc. I would love to see an Edenian fighting style.

I meant to say Deadly Alliance not Deception, but nonetheless you get my point. Or even if they made a fight style up like "Bu Shu Fan" and claimed it was an Edenian martial art that was thought only to generals, and was passed onto Rain by Queen Sindel (because, like Ermac, Rain will be good in the next game since he sided with Kitana in MKT)

We can´t be sure of the story in MK7 yet. Rain may still be a member of the Shaosters army.

But the question is....will he? He's only ever made it into the Trilogy based games and the MK team dont even make concept art of him. The same with Sektor, he's a fan favourite but theres little chances of him returning. MK7 promises many characters but that doesnt guarantee that Rain or Sektor will return. We could get 15 new fighters and loose loads of our favourite fighters. Which is why I personally sent Midway an e-mail with some of the ideas posted on this site and a link to here. If we want characters to return, explain why you want them to return and hopefully you might see them.
