Post subject: Why can't I see any variety in the levels |

For some reason, virtually every time I play the regular game, it forces me to fight on the same levels.
I almost always start off in Shang Tsungs Courtyard, then the Dead Pool, then the Forest, and so on.
I NEVER get to fight at The Pit, or any of the other cool levels. Why does the game do this? There's like 15 different levels, but it always makes me fight on the same 6 or 7 ones. It's driving me insane. Is there anything I can do?

As far as I know you can press the BLACK button to select your unlocked Arena while at the character choose screen. As far as I know you can only do this on Versus mode and Practice mode.

He's talking about the arcade mode though. I think you are pretty much screwed on that subject.

Yes I'm referring to the arcade mode. There's really nothing I can do about it?
I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that literally EVERY time it's the same lineup of arenas. It's not that I don't like those arenas, but I want a chance to use them all!

I have the same problem.
and I always get the same line-up of opponents when I choose a certain character. it seems like things aren't randomized like they were in DA. suckage. =(

Same here, ever since unlocking every arena in Deception, I can no longer battle in The Pit and The Artifact chamber. Also when unlocking all the characters the only character I can never fight again is Kabal.

I always start off against Sindel in the Courtyard, ALWAYS! Plus, she always does her hara-kiri. Then I fight Kenshi in the Living Forest, Li Mei in the Dead Pool, Darrius in the Beetle Lair and Ermac in the Lower Mines. I like those levels but I want to see some fresh faces like Mileena, Sub-Zero or Kabal in the Arcade Mode.

YES! That sounds exactly like what's happening to me! Same lineup and everything!
This really sucks......but at least I see I'm not the only one having this problem

ya know, I almost forgot Kabal was even in Deception. =x I never get to fight him. =(

I hope in the next MK installment, the problem should be fixed including the arenas.

I'd say thats the biggest problem the game has. Rarely, I get a fight in with Kira and Nightwolf in Liu Kang's Tomb, A fight with havik at the Portal, Scorpion at the Sky Temple and sometimes Mileena in Hell's Foundry. Its starting to annoy me seriously at this point, at least in Deadly Alliance there was some randomosity in who you fought and where.
