I think someone made a post like this for MK6 and I wasnt to fond of it. But I think it would be pretty sweet now.
The idea is you can make your own character, pretty easy to understand right. But you can make your character a human, ninja, tarkatan oni and maybe a few other options. You can unlock weapons, attacks clothes and stuff for your character in the krypt. And he could be the character that you use in konquest.

I'd make a fighter called Iyra. She would wear Kitana's Deadly Alliance Costume but her colour would be white. She would be one of Ashrahs sisters who found the Kriss in the Netherealm and wants to purify herself just like her sister did. She would look human and have some human emotions but would be a demon and her fatality would be she would turn into a vicious, ugly Oni and mawl you to death.
And if any fighters I liked couldnt make it into the game I would make them. I like the idea of making fighters!  _________________

My idea:
The first idea would be a character named Dyne. He would be a human from Outworld. His clan was brutally attacked by Baraka's Tarkatan squad, and he was left barely alive. In the battle, he had both of his arms and most of his legs cut off by Baraka himself. (He also lost one of his eyes, and had several bodily organs irreparably damaged. He is rescued by an Edenian traveler, who takes him back to Edenia for treatment. In Edenia, Princess Kitana realizes that Dyne might be helpful to the resistance against Shao Kahn and the Dragon King. The Edenian scientists graft robotic arms and legs onto him, as well as a cybernetic eye and some new internal organs. These new cybernetic parts give him new powers. His arms hide inside them long, sharp blades, much like Baraka's. Like Wolverine from X-Men, he can sprout these blades out at will. Now half man-half machine, he pledges his allegiance to Edenia, and yearns to get his revenge against Baraka with his new blade arms.
I know this idea kind of "borrows" concepts from Kabal, Jax and Kano, but I still think it'd be a cool character.

I always thought it would be awesome if there was some way to create a fighter in Mortal Kombat.
However, it would pretty much be impossible since every character needs a storyline and unique moves

well the profile for the character can be pre made. It will be the same on every game to coinside with the character.
They can have a different profile for each race...maybe five in all and whichever race you choose you get thats the profile.
Or there can be an option where you type in the profile. On the same screen you type in the name blah blah blah... _________________

It would be totally kick-ass if they added that feature in MK7. THis would be so sweet if I start creating my own kombatants specially female kombatants  _________________

That's true that you could do that.......but the character's profile wouldn't "mesh" with the existing characters profiles that well.

It would be hard to create own moves. I don´t know how it would work. But maybe there could be something like ´Moves database´. There would be moves from previous MKs, which aren´t in actual MK + some additional moves, specially created for this mode  _________________ DEVELOPER DIARIES

again they could be pre made and put in the krypt. Or you could unlock them in konquest. _________________

If they had FMV endings it would work. Ever play THUG, the character you created is in the FMV's. And if the endings are like in DA and MK:D then heres an idea. Like i said there will be a couple of race options. They can premake endings for each race in the costume they begin in before you unlock other costumes in the krypt. Its a little far fetched but it could work. _________________

The actual creation of the character probably would work fine......it's just the fact that the created character wouldn't tie into the storyline smoothly, since the writers of the game don't know what the player is creating.
