I'd punch him in the face! The guys obviously losing it! I'm sure some people reading this know Im not too happy with MK and how they have been treating Irish Playstation2 users. True, he's a legend for making the games but the guys going nuts. He should go back to using the ideas that made the other games classics.

Well these new games that came out can;t really be classics, because they're still relatively new. I think MKDA was really good, but i think the overestimating started with Deception. I believe that the MK team have bad marketing strategies. For one, they show off really great renders and it makes us think the the graphics are that good. Secondly, they show characters early on (MKSM), which makes you think that they're gonna be playable. Thirdly, When we do get the game, the final sometimes contradicts the concepts that were promoted.

which sig of mine are you talking about? The one I have now or my Kitana/Jade one?
Jay: I know that they cant be deemed classics because they are new, what Im trying to say is that they dont have the gameplay that would make them classics. You could play MK1 or MK2 and the fatalities are amazing (even though they are very old), so is the music, the arenas, the storyline and the fighters. To be honest I think MK lost it after MKT, because Mortal Kombat 4 was the first of a line of let-down MK's for me.

thank you very much. It took a lot more work than it looks like but I got the sig I wanted!
Deception and Deadly Alliance were good, but to me they arent the kind of games that in years to come would make me think "Hey, I think I will dig out my PS2 and play DA and Deception". Because even now my Super Nintendo and N64 are still in use when I play MK Trilogy and MK2. Thats the effect that every game up until MK4 had.

I think that MK4 was okay.
MKDA was the best, IMO. It did something that fighting games never had.
