Im an MK veteran. I've been playing the game since I was a little kid and I loved Deception when it came out. I got the game Christmas, and I have completed everything. But im not satisifed playing it anymore. I dont see any variety between the levels and I no longer feel challenged by the fighters. Does anybody else feel the same?

That's fun I do that a lot too, and also punch some MK guys and gals, but however they punch Shujinko back ROFL. And yeah true its kinda tiring to play it all the time and winning and stuff. Unlike MKDA that was a game worht playing, not saying I dont like MKD its just that well.......its tiring to play. *shrugs*

My main problem is that im too good for Max mode. My foes rarely hit me and they are always the same. I never get to fight Raiden in the Pit (its always Quan Chi's chamber) or Sub-Zero in the Deadpool. Im just tired of always fighting Sindel, Li Mei, Kenshi and every other fighter that appears every time I fight. It wouldnt be that bad if the Arenas changed but they dont. I always fight in the Arenas I hate. I would turn my attentions to Deadly Alliance but I find that game quite slow having been playing Deception for so long.

I feel the same way the classic games are more challenging.

I get more of a challenge in MK2 than I do in Deception and thats being truthful.

I was tired of Deception days after buying it. Thats why you hardly see me in this forum. Fighting games just have no replay value especially when you have no siblings. And I hated konquest. I hated that i was forced to go through it to unlock things, most of which sucked.

for me, the difficulty is strange, I don't play it very often at all, maybe once a month. But chess seems too easy, puzzle too hard, and arcade just about right.

What really didn't satisfy me was that knquest had so many loose ends and items that they hadn't finished with, seems a bit rushed to me.

Konquest was ok for me. I didnt mind it, I just didnt like the way you couldnt converse with the others in the game (you never get to talk to Sonya or Cage and Reptile simply says "Leave me be") The missions were a pain I hated them.

In terms of chalange: I dont play it that much, so I aint as good as I could be, but I can still give max mode a run for its money. But I have a REALY hard time in the old 2-D games. MKT escpecialy. Damn Kahn is one cheap bastard...

In terms of Replay value: The old games have replay value. Again, lets go to MKT. There is so many people to use its craazy. Also it gives a constant chalange.

In terms of mini games: Deception is better. I love chess adn Puzzle kombat. But i miss Test Your Might.

In terms of controls: I loved the old games better. The "Flying Thunder God" was simpler to do. it was < < >, now its < > X (PS2). and Lui Kangs "Bycicle kick" in MK1 was < v > in MK2-T it was high kick held for 3-5 seconds now in MKD its v > X (PS2). I like the old controls better.

Over all: The old games are still the best.
