Well as of now, they are not alive and free.....yet. Bcuz, for all we know, MK7 could still have them all as undead slaves. Or even permanently dead..

na they are alive because in one of the endings i think its lu kangs it says that all his friends are free from the spell and that lu kang is fighing himself untill raiden sparks him

Good for you, anyways I read about Nitara's ending and your were right, she sent that tin ninja back to earthrealm. But I wonder what Cyrax is doing during the events in Deception?

I think we can all assume that Ermac's ending occuring since he freed Sonya, Jax, Kitana, Cage and Kung Lao.
And if you watch Boon's interviews he says he wants Sonya back in future MK games. I think the MK team took out the main ones to make room for old, unused-in-a-while classics like Kabal.
So I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing them back again. There are other endings that all work together. I think BOTH Mileena's and Baraka's endings came true. In Mileena's, the "baraka" she killed was the one the real Baraka sent and then he slew her. Also, Bo Rai Cho's ending I think happened, since Mileena gave him control of Edenia's forces. And Sub-Zero's could very well have happened.
I drew it down to:
-Scorpion
-Shujinko
-Sindel
I think one of these 3 endings happened with regards to how the Dragon King was actually killed. I also think Raiden's could have come true in the case of Shujinko's ending.

I think it is obvious that Sonya, Jax, and so on will be freed eventually. Some of the endings could very well happen, but I hate to repeat myself again and again, but we just don't know until Mk7 comes out next year.

i reckon scorpion killed the dragon king and as for the rest of the endings well we have to wait for MK7 to see what happneds to the people
sonya and so on will come back and have a good storyline as well
