Smoke was buddies with the original Sub-Zero, but when Scorpion killed Sub-Zero he became friends with the younger sub-zero. Sub-Zero is now an old man, so what age would smoke be had he not been automated?

i didnt know smoke was mates with the original sub zero aswell as the one we all know and love today.apart from sub zero tho none of the other charcters seem to have aged.o yer and shujinko

Sub-Zero isn´t old, he is only cold. I think Smoke has the same age like Sub-Zero. You can see Smoke in his MK3 ending and he looks quite young.

But thats the problem/sollution with Human Smoke. If he was to be human, he would possibly be older than Sub-Zero. But if he was to be restored from his robotic state, he would be in his mid-age stage of life.

I don't really think there is a scale of aging in MK characters just get older when the MK crew choose.

Since Smoke is a cyborg now I think he would be temporarily immortal until someone destroys his cybernetic body.

I agree with that, I can't tell a difference of age thoughout the games.

They might not age at all. The flow of time can be different in Outworld and the other realms too. Kitana is 10000+.

OK. Heres another question for you. Smoke's soul was restored in MK3 yet in his ending in Deception he slays Sub-Zero. I know endings dont count but if his soul was restored before he was shutdown, howcome he killed his friend? Wouldnt he have feelings and a will of his own since he has a Soul? And if its the case where his programmings where responsible for that, why did he refuse to obey Noob in a fight against Ashrah after obeying the command to kill Sub-Zero?

Yes, you are right. I wrote it already:
In MK was two times the same situation, but with different endings:
Somebody (MK3:Lin Kuei, MK:D:Noob) has programmed Smoke...
...in MK3 he discovered he had soul, disobeyed Lin Kuei and didn´t kill Sub-Zero.
...but in MK:D he followed Noob and killed Sub-Zero.
I think it´s only story mistake

thats cool but to bes honest its a shame that smoke dont have that big of a story line and i think it would be cool if smoke and subzero do like lu kang and so on but way back in the story line to old sub zero before he got killed by scorpion

Well it is said that Smoke is EASILY manipulated in MKD.
Noob has comeplete control over Smoke.
I dont think taht Smoke is "all there". ^_^
