It can be said that the victors of Mortal Kombat were Kang, Cage and Sonya since they all fight for the forces of light and all won the tournament. Even in MK-SM Raiden tells them they are all the champions.

but kang actually won the tournament, he beat Shang, therefore he is the real champion of MK

Exactly MKG rain. The rules themselves are pretty strict and are not arbritray. On top of that, jax hasn't aged. Thirdly, the opening movie of MKII says that Liu Kang won the tournament. Midway has never retconned it to include anyone else.

Not the same Kung Lao. Anyway, it doesn't discount the point that only Kang would be granted immortality. But he's dead. The rest should have aged.

fair enough they should have aged but didnt just changed thier looks like i said and lu kang ant dead no more
in MKD he has a fight with himself and radien shocks them both back together so hes alive again

All MK endings are set to maybe status until they can otherwise be confirmed. I.E. Nothing is certain until the next game. Unless you will tell me that Kano had possessed his body.

Is it possible that maybe someone is providing the Mk warriors a youth potion or something. I think maybe Kitana is giving them something to keep them alive longer. What do you guys think?

Getting back to Smoke, did anyone else notice that in Noob Saibot's MKD ending that he was in his human form?  I thought that to be confusing. I watched all the endings yesturday with my friend and I saw that there were a good 4-7 that all seemed to work out with one another. Of course, character's like Tanya and Lie Mei aren't real endings.
I figure Maybe Ashra's ending could have happened because in that Smoke's in his machine body but he's malfunctioning, perhaps his soul does not belong in the Neatherrealm and so he looses his mechanical form. That's why he's human in Noob's ending.
To be honest I think it's time Sub-Zero just die. He shouldn't be in MK7.
Back to the age thing, I still think that champions are granted immortality, therefore they can train other warriors. Raiden even said they were all the victors of Mortal Kombat in Shaolin Monks.
