But over these years, the MK team has shown that what "ninja" means in MK is NOT the same way how "ninja" means in the real world. Ninja, in MK is more of robed, masked character with a mystery to him/her, with some affiliation to a group or race. Their are some MK "ninjas" that are NOT human, but they are still classified as ninjas. Example: Reptile, Scorpion (spectre - no longer human), Ermac (combination of souls), and Noob Saibot. So, what I mean is, just because Smoke's MKD alt classifies him as a "ninja" does not automatically classify him as human. Why is everyone ganging up on me on this? Come on, he doesn't even look human in his MKD alt!

I have to say, I agree with Jay on this one. Smoke is in no way, shape, or form, any kind of human. humans are made of flesh and blood. Smoke is made of... well, smoke in his alt. he may be shaped like a human, but he hasn't been human since MK3, when he was made into a cyborg.

ermac ant a ninja to start off with hes a wizerd type person and as for smoke yeah it does show him as a smoke form in his Alt but how did he get to just smoke after being a robot then if thats the case

Ermac has been in the ninja category since MKT. Even the MK team consider him a ninja. I read it in a concept peice.
And Smoke has an ability to appear as pure smoke.

I wasn't saying he was. lol Just providing definitions. Though a Cyborg is a robot and flesh combination. So there are parts arguably still human in him. Most likely his brain. And Smoke was a human who had the power to turn into vapor/smoke as his special ninja skill (Like many anime including Naruto). So It's a special ability. Doesn't make him any less human. As for a complete robot body I would still keep the brain or else it would be impossible for him to be trained again so easily. But if you say that the brain contains the soul then that would explain why he was soulless. :S
I say we chalk it up fantasy and stop the arguing because even sci-fi reality has a hard time making it work. ^_^

lol ermac was scoprion now thats rubbish plus yeah i have to agree with you on that one if anythink is human on smoke its hes brain.
maybe he will go back to being a human in the future like cryax did
