Only a few people should have weapons, It would be annoying if everyone had weapons.

no because it would be kinda like the animalitys on MKA, it takes away from the actual point and story line, see for the games it is a good thing because it gives the player an extrathing to enjoy, but in movie terms it would just take away from the point of them being fighting in a tournament, not in a war, but like noob saibot5 said only a few, if they can make it work right

Weapons are what made MK:DA and MK: Deception. If they were planning on making another movie, why not give characters weapons. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kenshi, characters that would actually have worthwhile weapons.

 I think all the characters should have weapons, but only 3 or 4 should use them and rarely use them at that.
