Ok. I know this is ovious, but if you look Raiden has 2 ways they spell his name in the games (and different ways to say it) In MK 1, 2, 4, DA, D, thay spell it Raiden and pronounce it RAY-DEN, but in the series of MK3 games (3, UMK3, MKT) its spelt Rayden and pronounced R-I-DEN. Why is this?

Im so confused... I like spelling it Rayden, but I like saying it Ray-den.... im contridicting myself! what do I do?!

Well problem solved. "Rai" is not pronounced "Ray" Its pronounced "Rye". When you select him, his name is spelt "Raiden" but the commentator does not say "Ryeden", he says "Rayden", so you can spell his name as "Raiden" but his name is pronnounced "Rayden". *phew!*

im suprised you mk "fans" dont know this. they spelt it the original way because...well they wanted to....but they got into a small lawsuit because that spelling was already used elsewhere in another game. therefore they had to change the spelling. always pronounced RAY-DEN.

guys shut up or the topic will be closed. So what if a topic was bumped if its a good topic then thats ok. ieatgreenfleas, many "fans" of the Mk unniverse are left in the mist about things in the MK world. You cant fault them or insult them because they dont know something, thats why we have forums like this so we can learn from other fans things we did not know before.

noob saibot5 i agree and sorry to to TMK, but i didnt do anything wrong until vainziler opened his mouth so to speak. i was simply saying i was suprised that, after over a month of nobody responding, nobody responded giving the reason to the topic. no negativity or insulting. but i guess responding in general was illegal according vainziler. to be honest, i would like to respond to a post even if its half a year old. who cares. vainziler, next time, either dont post back, or just say..."oh yeah...ur right...i read that about raiden somewhere....."
