Thank you...wish the police would have been as understanding.
The owners also told the police that I swerved at the dog and that I was the one that hit the dog on the 4 wheeler too. God I hate people...

Yeah, and I think that's fine. I mean, they did it for clothing and for their food and stuff. But for sport - as in just killing them for fun - well, I don't think that's right. It's horrible.
I like eating meat, too. But that's okay, because I'm Muslim, and I know that the meat I'm eating came from an animal that was slaughtered as humanely as possible.
I don't consider every human a barbarian. I just hate people who cause pain to animals needlessly, especially if the animal is defenceless and can't do anything to stop its death.

I eat meat and I don't ever think about where it came from or how the animal sufferred for it. I guess now, I would think twice.
I believe animals have a purpose to serve humans, but that doesn't mean that humans can be cruel to animals.

I see a balance in human nature. Animals need meat to survive, so they eat off other animals. Humans need meat too, so they eat animals. I think if an animal wasnt slaughtered cruely, then its fine to eat meat. If I knew that cows were beaten to dath, I wouldnt touch beef, but I've seen on a documentary how they are killed and I know that its very quick and painless.
I think eating meat is ok, we have done so since we were cavemen. I just think that hurting animals for no reason, or torturing them for our own sadistic pleasure is wrong and it needs to stop. Think about it.....we need meat to survive, but do we need to shove Kittens into glass jars for survival? Or do we need to beat domesticated animals to death just so we can live till tomorow? The answer is no.....we dont need to. So why do it.

There is a lot more I can say on this matter, but then again it is based on my religious beliefs and I cannot say it.
I guess what I can say is that there is always going to be evil in the world and it is going to feed and survive by people doing stuff like this. I mean, acts of torture such as this goes as far as affecting humans too. Have any of you ever heard of human trafficking? It's horrible! What is more sad is that it is only the beginning. Humans are getting worse year after year and evil is running rampant. What was considered shocking and disgusting back in the 60's is now "normal" and "accepted". Animal cruelty is just a sliver of how bad it is out there.
