I liked mkm Sub-Zero.I never played mk:special forces but it look like shit anyway.Which mk character do you think should have his/her own game?
I'd like a game about Stryker,but it will never happen.A game about Li Mei would be cool.I love her very much.

WHY DON'T THEY JUST MAKE EACH NINJA WITH HIS OWN GAME AND THEN MAKE ONE WITH ALL OF THEM TOGETHER AND YOU COULD BUY ONE AT A TIME OR HAVE IT IN A GROUP PACKAGE

I think blackcyborgs's idea of having a "Lin Kuei Mythologies" game is great.
The game would be really cool!
You could create you'r own cyborgs, complete Lin Kuei tasks, assasinate etc.
Good idea!!!

You'd be right on your assessment of MK: Special Forces, Stryker 666. It wasn't so much crap as it was pure evil. It felt as though the design team were trying to combine elements of Metal Gear Solid with the 3D engine of MK4 and just completely f* cking up everything in the process. Special Forces didn't even have a strong story, let alone a story to fall back on and everyone knows that MK's saving grace is its' story. And for being one of the later games to appear on the PS1, its' blocky graphics looked worse than many 1st generation PS1 games. Even the very first Tomb Raider game looked better than this!
But I digress. Just be thankful you haven't wasted your time playing that travesty.
As for the possibility of another Mythologies type game, I'm all for it. I would, for instance, like to see a Mythologies starring Sheeva and Kintaro and focusing totally on the events of the Shokan species and their involvement in and outside of the Mortal Kombat tournament. Sheeva declared that she was going to restore the honor of her people after Shao Kahn had been defeated. I'd like to see where her quest to restore the once proud Shokan race took her. I somehow sense royalty in her future. 
I would want it to be a fully-realized 3-Dimensional game. Not like the shoddy Special Forces, but a truly special game taking full advantage of all the power of whatever systems it got released on. You should be able to fully interact with the background instead of having everything be completely static. For that matter, there needs to be a background (another shot at Special Forces, oh yeah!) After seeing the GameCube remake of Resident Evil, a first generation GC game, there's no reason why a new Mortal Kombat shouldn't live up to that level of realism. Especially considering that Mortal Kombat has always prided itself on using real actors instead of animated ones.
I don't know what else there'd be, but that's basically what I'd want. I'll have to give this one some more thought and really flesh out the idea.

Yeah that'd be cool. And add some RPG elements to it. But the fights still be like in mk And you could go trough the game by yourself or in a grop of other charaters that are controlled either by other players of AI.
