what is your opinion on the most underused character in mortal kombat? little different than underrated... my vote is possibly for smoke. i know he was "in" 2, in 3 as robotic smoke, and now in deception etc.. but hes never had a good storyline. i know hes had one and all being sub's freind and in the lin kuei and all but he could easily be right there with scorpion and sub zero in terms of their background stories and depth. hes one of the coolest and most original characters in the game. even in shaolin monks they didnt do anything for him and they tried to clear up all rumors and put storylines into more septh and all that but they just had his smoke missions and he said like three lines. no story. nothing. even noob, who has had virtually no storyline, they expanded on alot in deception. what are your thoughts?

 The most underused character has got to be shinnok, cause he's only been in a couple of them

Smoke wasn't in MKD, only in konquest but he wasn't pickable to fight with. And I think Stryker is THE most underused character ever. His storyline is just crap, his moves are cheap and he himself is dumb. Stryker sucks!

Styker was okay. He had the most realistic attacks. I mean it's not every day you see someone in outworld that can't shoot fireballs or MK2 machines. My most underused character Hsu Hao, Mavado, Kira, Korba, and Dairou. They all suck in a way. The klassic charcters are always the best.

Take a look at your sig.
Sektor among others is very underused and by my knowledge(didn't play MK Gold) he doesn't really have a great back story.

Sektor is not ''underused'', he was used alot on the MK series and I think his background story is great!

MK3, UMK3, MKT, MKG and MKTE... As you can see that's 5 games  So he surely isn't one of the underused characters...

lol yeah -A-Nubis, i was like...yeah he is in MKD...anyway...i agree with you. stryker is the most unerused, however i guess i should have made my poing more clear. my bad. what i meant to say is...hmmm....i guess like...whos the most underused of the more popular characters. i know "popular is a point of view but...like a ton of people love smoke, hes one of the most loved characters, yet theres not alot of back to him. theres recent stuff like how he was found at the bottom of kahns temple (pit 3?) and stuff like that but i feel they should make a mythologies about him. or at least about the lin kuei and their rivalry with the shirai ryu before their leader was killed and all, then with sub becoming noob and it would be cool to tie in smoke and the younger sub. anyway! that would be cool. and for those who are saying people like dairou and darrious or kobra etc being the most underused, they dont count at all because they are SO new. obviously they havent been used much. (and they suck....) sorry jk.

Hey man, Mavado kicks ass! 
I'll agree with the others though, although I would've added Rain to that list - imo he's a waste of space - his moves are lame, his costumes are lame, and his story is lame.......and same goes with that dip-shit Stryker!
