Did Jade really die? I went back to where I fought the three femme fatales, and her body disappeared, but her staff and pool of blood remained. Does she come back and fights you or is it just left like that in the game?
I mean Jade obviously comes back, but I want to know how her death in MKSM is canon if she is still alive.
Oh, and also, I'm not far in the game, but I would like to know ahead of time.

Well at least it isn't true, if she was dead permanently then we wouldnt see her in UMK-3 and MKD. But still im wondering if she is alive or not as well. 
Well here's my theory on what happened, it could be that maybe shao Kahn's shadowpriests mustve taken her body and decided to resurrect her, and in doing so Jade is alive again, so I think that Jade owe's Shao Kahn so Shao Kahn mustve told her to work for him in return for reincarnating Jade, and then in MK3 I guess you know the rest, but that's just me saying it. *shrugs*

There is plenty of stuff in that game that are non-cannon, kabal and sub-zero being just a few examples. Like, we all know that Sub-Zero was scarred by the Lin Kuei and not Kung Lao. I dont think her death was real, just to fit into the Mk storyline, otherwise other warriors would not be in the next few games.

But she come back later in the game. I mean, I heard that you can fight Mileena by herself later in the game, so can u fight her like that?

Yeah you fight Mileena in a hidden part in the living forest. Jade got two sais put through her eyes so I doubt she'll be coming back for more.

Well the whole story of this game was messed up though.
I mean come on Reptile didn't die either.
Scorpion i can see I mean hey he's already dead lol
Plus i didn't know Kano died 
By the way I've heard you can find Kabal but i can't find him.
Can someone tell me where they found him if you can?

I think that, if you look at the original MK3 game, the characters that died aren't in there.
Scorpion - Doesn't die but is pulled into lava by skeletons. He's not in MK3
Jade - Died to Liu Kang. She's not in MK3
Repitle - Sufficated and killed. He's not in MK3
Goro - Johney Cage kicks his groin a few hims. He's not in MK3
Kintaro - Ripped apart. He's not in MK3
Baraka - Horribly ripped apart by souls. Not in MK3.
Kano - Can be fought and killed, though this is an extra and obviously didn't happen since in the original MK2 game he and Sonya are seen in the background chained up.
Shang Tsung - Had his neck broken. I suppose he could have been resurrected but this is the only one that troubles me other than Kahn.
Shao Kahn - Turned into stone and blew up. He can easily come back? I don't know this always confused me. If he's defeated in MK2 how does he exist in MK3?? Someone explain this.
Who is in the original MK3?
Sub-Zero, Sonya, Jax, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sektor, Cyrax, Shang Tsung, Striker, Kabal, Sheeva, Sindel, NightWolf, Kano, and Cyborg Smoke. As well as Shao Kahn and Motoro.
Only Kahn and Tsung were in SM and killed as well as in MK3 but of course they could have been "resurrected" or "not actually killed". Other than these two the rest can be considered dead and brought back by Quan Chi or someone for MK4. However, this is going under the assumption that MK3 is the canonical continuation instead of UMK3 (which of course as way more characters including the ones listed dead above.)

i think most of thses things are just to give you a sense of kicking there ass.how crap would it be if everytime you beat someone they just ran off?so they did this just to make it seem more real.

Yeah I got pissed off by that, I wanted her to die as gruesomely as Jade did! I like Mileena, but seeing her die would be cool.

Yeah i know, but the Kitana/Mileena rivalry is forever. You can't kill Mileena unless Kitana allows it. She wants to do it herself. The same with the Sub-Zero/Scorpion rivalry.
