my thery is id be weird if mk 7 was like shaolin monks but took place in mk3,becuase shaolin monks took place in mk 2.

hmm yeh but that would suck.if some people didnt like mksm they wont like mk 7.i think it should be how the other discusion has got it and make it mk trilogy 2

How can MK7 be MKSM 2, if MK is initially a fighting game. MKSM took place in MK2 so the timeline would be messed up if MKSM2 were to be MK7.
....Now i'm confused.

MKSM is probably the only MK that I don't like because MK is MK. I hope its not like MKSM.

MK:7 will be a fighting game.
The game that will come out after MK7 it will be kind of like MK:SM.
Each year they make a fighting game then an adventure game.

Yes I've heard the same thing from my friend, although i don't know where he heard it.
But yeah makes sense if ya think about it.
MK 7 then MKSM 2.
I think it would be coolness to see MKSM 2 made after the background of MK 3.
It would show like Kano running away from Sonya and Jax.
Kahn's extermination squads (minotaurs/motaros people) going after the chosen warriors.
Not a bad idea at all if you ask me.

I think that that's would most likely happen and if they run out of ideas, then they can give a character their own game that they can star in. I would love to see a game that stars Mileena!!!

Or Jade in a stealth game since the MK team dubs her as a stealth ninja. ^^

I don't mean to sound like an MK mark.
But I honestly would like to see a game starring Scorpion.
I mean they made a Sub Zero game why not "MK Mythologies: Scorpion"?
I think it would make an interesting game.
But instead of new age graphics and technology put in the old graphics and make it feel like a classic right off.
I don't know just something I was thinking of while playin Sub Zero the other day. lol

MK7 will not be a side scroller. It will be a fighting game that occurs after the events of MKD. The game after that will probably not be a fighting game, and yes Midway has stated in press releases that they intend to release a game every year.
