Yes and they did very well without there hero in the game also.
Sometimes I think they just wanted to see the fans reaction without Liu Kang in the game. lol |
Fan's reaction eh? Well my reaction for MKD is that shocking when Kitana was never in Deception, only in the endings of SIndel and Ermac they showed her, but never playable in the game.

Liu Kang was the worst excuse for an MK character and should stay dead.
I never liked him in the first place in the games. The idea of bringing him back as a zombie was the worst idea that came through Midway's mind.
It's about time for him to die don't you all think?!

i could care less actually. liu kang to me was pretty cool, alittle boring though compared to most fighters. definately had some of the lamest fatalities to ever come into the mind of the MK creators(i.e. super uppercut, arcade game drop...)
anyways the wuestion is who revived his zombie form 
btw what was liu kangs alliance in MK:D? was it unknown, because he was a damn zombie.

I think his squaky voice is something we can never forget. Especially when you use Cyrax's web capture on him in MKGold. But I thought it was cool that he was finally dead. I don't think it lasted long enough though. One thing I would have loved is if Quan Chi's ending from MKDA came true and his soul inhabited Kano's body. 2 character's back with one stone. Plus seeing Kano do the bicycle kick would have been priceless. 
I'd prefer him dead for at least one more game, but he should still be playable like in MKD.

I liked Liu Kang cause all his moves are easy to pull off. LOL
But seriously, "Liu Kang... is dead." *thud*
Let's move on and leave it at that.
I wish they'd get back to actually fighting in tournaments again. Instead of all this sideline story crap I really don't care about.

Yeah exactly, MK hasnt been the same since the tournaments stopped. I think the next MK, Armaggedon, should be Shao Khan's last attempt to seize the realms through the tournament. That way, Noob could fight not only for himself but the netherealm too, and Kitana could fight for Edenia.
