I'm just interested in seeing what people might be hoping for in terms of new character abilities for existing characters in the next game.

I can only think of 1 right now, but I'd like to see Mileena do a move where she takes off her veil and exposes her face during a match. Just like Scorpion did in MK:4 (I think it was), where he takes his mask off and spits fire at the opponent. Whether Mileena does it as a throw or an actual move doesn't matter, as long as we get to see those tarkatan fangs of hers! (without having to wait to do a fatality)

Any ideas???

I'd like to see Kitana's fan toss attack from Mk2 brought back into the games. She could only do it in Deadly Alliance by implaing her foes but I think it should be her projectile.

Those ideas sound good. I'm personally fond of Mileena simply having an alternate outfit where she's "maskless".

I'd like to see Scorpion's weapon style turn into a whip-like style with his spear. Similar to how he used it during the second fight with him in Monks.

I can't think of much else yet.

- Reptile's acid spit should cause the wound to give off smoke, like it did in MK2

- MORE alternate costumes for every character. I'd like there to be like 5 or so that you can unlock (in addition, all of the character's costumes from past games should be available.)

- Longer lifebars so the rounds last longer. (Maybe make them 50% longer.)

- I'd like to see moves during the fights that can cut/rip off an opponent's arms or legs. It could be like a "test your might" kind of thing after you grab the opponent. It would happen in certain scenarios, such as when you're blocking too much. If you keep your guard up for too long while the opponent is hitting you, he'll grab you. Once the arm is ripped off, certain moves become unavailable for the remainder of that round. (You'd get the limb back for the next round.) It would require some inventive programming and whatnot, but I think it would be fun.

I want to see everyone have there own custom defensive moves. Raiden could have the same lightning block that he did in MKD's intro. Same with Quan-Chi's skull wall.

i want cage's low blow back. alot of moves from MK2 actually.
kitana's fan throw, reptile's forceball, invisibility move, shang tsung's morph. cage's shadow punch. jax' gotcha grab.

yeah I like that idea.
maybe not using their specials (because that would take AGES to design and programme), but at least using each characters specific fighting style. Like Subby might do jodan/chudan/gedan blocks with his shotokan, or Liu might do intercepting strike with his jeet kune do... see what I mean?
