I have just thought of asking this. Has anyone else gotten Frostys? For those of you looking at me like Im on crack here is an explanation:
In the games with the Toasty (duh..) if you are using Sub-Zero and you do a good combo and follow it up with a Freeze move, or counter an eneimy with a well timed Freeze, Dan Forden will pop up, BUT he will NOT say anything. Instead he'll just sit there and go away with no speech. This is the Frosty.

i thought the way to get it was to freeze the enemy when there life was in the danger state?
but i know what your talkin about and ive never had it happen

To get a frosty, freeze someone when their life bar is in danger. Dan Forden will appear and say "frosty!" That's the only way.

And anyway I did the sound test cheat and listened to all of them and found no "Frosty" or "Crispy"!...

I had a bunch of Frostys today when I played UMK3 on my saturn. He actually says 'Frosty'.

I got a frosty when I froze Kung Lao right after he pulled his hat off but before he threw it. I also got one on Shao Kahn while he was in the danger zone. All this on MK3
