Well, I always play the older games more then the newer ones (MKT the most) and when switching between the generation of games, there is something that has always bugged me. The changing and watering down of moves. Like Kabal in MK3 was one of the best characters, but in UMK3 he was so watered down it was crazy. And MK3 Kung Loa wasnt as great as MK2 Kung Lao. Also, I don't like how they change how moves are done. Example: In MK1-T Raidens "Flying Thunder God" was always Back, Back, Foward. Now in MKd on PS2 I think its (havent played it in a month) Back, Foward, Square. I dont really care about haing an actual symbol button to do a move. Also I liked in MK2-T Liu Kangs Bike kick was just hold High kick for a few seconds. Now here is my point. Is there anyone else here that also thinks they should bring back some of the older ways to do moves? Also who thinks that some older moves should return? Like Raidens reverse lightning, Jax's ground pound + gatcha grab, air throws, Scorpions telepunch (both backwords AND fowards), Sindels hair throw, ect. _________________

i agree completly. Especially about the watering down part. For example in MK3 sub zeros 6 hit combo did 30% damage and that was pretty average but not to great. However what bothered me was when it whent from 30% to 23%!! After a period of time that 7% can be the diffrence between you winning or losing.
Another thing that bothered me about the new line of MK's (especially DA) was the combo system. I hated it. The combos were short, weak and utterly stupid to get working. That and the controls didnt feel to fluent.
but i still love MK _________________
