in addition, we have other somewhat unspoken rules, reviving dead topics being among them. if no one has replied to a topic in about 6 months or more, then we consider it dead and would prefer that unless you have a really great addition to the thread to be made, then just leave it alone.
also, you know how to behave. just use common courtesy and ettiquete, do unto others as you'd have them do unto you, and all that good stuff.
