How do you obtain the weapons in certain arenas floors? i.e. the one locked in the green crystal

u just gatta walk into the green crystal to break it. Then hit L2+L1 (PS2) to get the weapon.

wHAT WOULD THAT BE FOR X BOX? THE LEFT AND RIGHT TRIGGER TOGETHER? AND IS THAT THE SAME SCHEME FOR ALL THE ARENA WEAPONS?

To pick up weapons, you only need to press L2 on the ps2 controller

For the Gamecube version, it's the C stick that picks up weapons.
