the human reptile costume in sm has a less detailed costume though. In my opinion the lizard reptile looks better.
Plus his fatalities are better suited to an animal, pure ferocity

Dude, I so wanted to see that as the default costume. It would kinda make sense too. You have Reptile but his human skin is stretched out over his reptilian skin making him look like a bad attempt at being human and in the later games he "sheds" and we see him as he is now. I even like the bandage thing around his head too.

It WOULD make sense for him to look human in MKSM because thats how he looked originally in MK2. But then again, maybe that's how the MK team wanted Reptile to look this whole time.
