One question I have about MK7, is Shujinko gonna be there?

At the end of Raiden's arcade, we see him get killed. But was that true?

what is your opinion on wether Shujinko should come back or not?

My opinion is that he shouldnt return. Was more rip-offy of other fighters.

He should be in it if he has his own moves.

I liked him, but there's two changes that should be made:

1. Give him his own moves

2. Make him younger. (Have the Gods restore his youth or something like that.)

His Praying Mantis style was my favorite in the whole game. He had some ridiculous combos with it, and it just looked awesome.

I loved Shujinko, and that's why I think he should be dead and never come back.

Follow me here... In MK6, we saw Shujinko grow up, learn to fight, get embroiled in a diabolic consipracy, redeem himself, and finally die. We got the entire story of a character, beginning to end. Let it stay that way. It makes the character more... complete. Not another rehashed boring loony.

That's cool......

But what if he died, and evil still lives on? He could be revived by the elder gods, with his youth intact, to come back and fight evil again.

You're all forgetting the horrifying truth of Ed Boon's own words:

Ed Boon wrote:
"No one ever really dies in Mortal Kombat".

NoOoOoOoOo! That means...Kobra'll be back one day too! Shocked Surprised Puke Crying or Very sad

I'm sure Shujinko will be back...Hopefully not for another 10000 games. But I think it was perfect how, even after redeeming himself, he died at the hands of the Thunder God he once so easily ass-kicked as a kid.

You know what, I want him to stay dead thanks to Raiden. Twisted Evil
Never liked him anyway, Id rather want Kung Lao back than that old geezer Shujinko.

I actually really liked Shujinko's character. he was so naive and innocent... and gullible. I'd like to see him back in a future game; maybe not MK 7, but sometime in the future.

first off, Shujinko doesn't know every single move in the game. he has 7 borrowed special moves from other characters; i.e.- Sindel's foot grab, Liu Kang's bicycle kick, et cetera.

second, we don't know if he's dead either. MK7 has yet to come out, so we don't know if Raiden's ending is true or not. I think it might be a good idea to keep him alive, maybe to have a rivalry between Shujinko and Raiden, since the speculation is that Raiden is to turn evil. Shujinko may become the new lead character, as Ed Boon himself said, "Shujinko is like the new Liu Kang."

That would be alright with me.......I'm kind of tired of MK riding Liu Kang, anyway. He's an ok character, but not great.

I think the idea of Raiden turning evil is pretty cool.....just so long as he only stays that way for a game or two. Then bring him back to the good guys.

I agree with bringing shujinko back if he has his own specials moves, fatalities, weapon(s), etc. But there's really no point to rehashing a supposedly dead character if he isnt gonna be something new and interesting.
