|
mine is the dead pool, because it seems like such a dark arena from the background music and when you fall into the acid. i liked it in mk2 because shao kahn sounded so cool in that game, and the fatality music was also eerie.

i like any stage with a stage fatality (dead pool, the pits, shao kahn tower ect. ect.) it's right cool when you do that supercut (stage fatal) and they fall down and then they splat/spike/get chopped to bits

Actually the sweet arenas are the ones which were classics and are brought back ie: the soul tombs is a fine example of one

This stage is probably no ones favorite. However, a stage doesn't got to have a stage fatality to be a favorite. My favorite stage is "The Balcony" from MK3. I've been working on a stage fatality for the stage, if in case it ever returns.
The reason why I like the Balcony, is that it has a dark aura to it, and the music seems to fit it. The evil looking Motaro statues off to the sides, seem to fit the level too.
Ok. Now for the kool part.
I've been working on stage interactions and a stage fatality for "The Balcony". I hope ya'll like it.
Balcony Stage Interactions:
1. The opponent can be slammed into the Motaro statues, and they will break.
2. The Opponent can be knocked to the floor below. It will bring back old memories, for the floor below will be none other than "The Soul Chamber" from MK3. There is a stage fatality here too. The opponent can be thrown into the "soulnado" and be ripped apart. (The ordeal with the oni and scorpion gave me this idea.)
3.If your still on the balcony, the torches on the wall may be picked up and used as a quick weapon. They can catch your opponent on fire!!
4. It IS a balcony. Being a balcony, there has to be something down there if you FALL OFF!!! If you knock your opponent off the balcony, the opponent will fall in some dark poison bramble. Being that this is the realm of Outworld, the dark poison bramble begins to move. It grabs hold of the opponent. The opponent begins to struggle, but the poison starts to kick in. The opponent slowly stops struggling and dies. The bramble then brings him/her deep in. You can't see anything but bramble now.
"The Balcony" is my favorite stage, and now you can see why.
