Can something be done about the spammers please?
Whenever i check posts since last visit, 75%+ must be posts like;
Wooos ur fve ninjer? I liek sub zer0
DID j00 know? noob saibot is boon adn tobias backwards!1!1
its pathetic, it seems every week we get a new memebr who jsut spams the fuck out of the boards, posting on the wrong boards, asking stupid, common sense questions, most of which have already been answered.
the most common one seems to be who is ur fave...
Do people not know what the search function is for? or just check the board pages while ur in there.
These people are ruining the forums and the atmosphere of this site for me..

The only one who currently has an ability to ban is TMK. Talk to Jay for the reasons I do what I do.
I too am getting tired of the Who's your fave thread, and am considering make a "Who's your fave" thread in the General Discussion, so that there's only one thread and I can close the rest without need or worry.
I come everyday, and I have to read all threads. Even ones that don't interest me. I'm aiming for my best.
On the other topic, the search function is currently screwy (see last time we were hacked). And so they can't search. And if you notice the christmas list post, there are a lot of children. 13-15 y/o, unfortunately that group hasn't grown up with it like we have. And so all of the history is new to them. We will have to accomodate for them, unless you do what I'm doing.
I'm taking the question thread as I have called it, and am compiling it into a searchable FAQ, when they finally run out of questions, I will sticky it for future references. I think that would work best. 
If you have some ideas I'll welcome them, and you can post right here.

Well, I've had some ideas where you earn your posting by using the money system. It's a bit complex and I doubt it would work for this site. Some of which requires that you have read the rules and agree that if you violate any of them you are instantly banned. A bit harsh, but helpful. Don't think it'd fly though.
As for your code of conduct, how would it be different from the standard rules here?

I couldnt agree more about spammers, however I find it a bit unfair because every time I try put them in their place I seem to land myself into trouble. Im not going to say anynames but one person practically asked for money, while another started a useless topic and his first and only sentance was a spam. I know sometimes flamming and spamming can be accidental but when people are going out of their way to earn koins it gets tedious looking at their topics.

I've already pmed TMK a while ago about this. I think the shop is attracting most of them, and since only one person can ban, well that gives an advantage to spammers. We should either close the shop, make koins hard to get, enable mods to ban, or maybe..I dunno. A faq won't help, they won't read it. We should re-enforce the Zero Tollerence. Back when it was new, I got myself banned on accident. (I was a stupid newbie little person back then and I'm the graveyard  ) It was really enforced when it was new...

Well, I do try to hit all the spammers with a "You have spammed" post. I'm not perfect though. 
If you can avoid the flaming, then all the better. I was thinking about asking TMK to make me a personal bitching forum. Just a place where people can bitch. Don't know how it'd fly with you guys. I might be able to do it on some kind of Koin Donation system. (Not to me, but to the general Kommunity with TMK's help) And I could add people to post who donate (one time fee).
Basically a flame board. Don't know if it'd be conducive to the spirit of TMK though. Need more opinions on that as well as my other ideas.

I have a plan to stop spammers from making useless topics for koins. The shop should only be open for people who have two medals beneath their name. That way, they have enough koins to spend in the shop, and HOPEFULLY spammers will actualy make good topics and revert from their spamming ways. It would also make it easier to weed out whatever spammers are out there on the forum.
