Death to Cage is vastly overdone. Its happened too many times in my book.. he'll just keep coming back somehow.

He was pretty lame in Shaolin Monks.
He'd be cooler if they'd tone down his behavior by a few notches. Keep the moviestar angle, but make him more serious or something.
I actually think he should have a fued with Kobra. They're both humans from Earthrealm, and both American. Johnny Cage is the VanDam-like "good guy," while Kobra is kind of a "Johnny from Karate Kid" bad guy.
That could be a pretty cool fued.

He was mere comic relief to me. Oh, and Cage did a movie called "The Death of Johnny Cage" too, to fit his multiple deaths in the storyline. However, that's in the later part of the MK story. We're talking about MK2 here damnit! :p

God, lol, Johnny sucks so bad. You'd think after dying so much he'd start acting a bit more serious. But oh well, at least after hearing his stupidity you can kick the a** out of some bad guys!

He really needs to go... The whole, stealing the kill from Kang and Lao in the Goro fight was a crime. Maybe if it looked good it could be overlooked. I bet Kung Lao was so annoyed, finally he could exact his revenge in any way he saw fit and along comes Cage to kick Goro in the stomach... slappable offence!

 I don't really think of Kobra as sucky fighter or a super cool 1 either but he is still good depending on how good u r at the game b/c his attacks are simple and quick to do unlike some other people in the games.

I really like Johnney Cage. He is a great fighter in ALL the MK games and can be a very deadly opponet to face. I really don't get why you guys hate him so much.

I too like Johnny Cage. He has a very different personality that the other fighters, along with strong moves, easy-to-learn combos, and some really memorable cfinishers (the triple head punch!!!). He may not seem to take the whole fighting for Earth concept seriously, but if you think about it, if he didn't really care much, then he woudnt be risking his skin. He is pretty hot too. ^_^
