Hello everyone you can all probably guess why I made this topic just by the title. I would like to say good bye to all of the veterens at this great site. I will miss most of you, I do not want to list any names because I don't want anyone to get pissed or get angry because I did not say there name. Anyways, It has been a great experience to be a member at this site. I met great people, learned ALOT of things, and enjoyed everything with in the experience. I have helped people in this site, Including Total-mk. To tell the truth, the forum has gone bleh. There is many spamming happening here and there is nothing being done about it. There is a 99.9 percent chance I will not come back. There are other reasons I will not explain.
Once again. Good bye everyone, enjoy it here. Your gonna love it here  . < Line I use when newcomers introduce themselves. I'll miss it here  .

Dont Leave RoS!!! We need the veterans here! Yeah ok, the spammers are a pain in the ass but thats why you should stick around, to show them how to behave on the forum and give them our advice!
........actually, come to think of it......its been tempting to leave for me too...I know the staff are trying their best to get rid of them but....nothing seems to be happening. There just doesnt seem to be any interesting topics anymore.....perhaps I shall leave too.....I'm going to have to think about it.

Don't go. I e-mailed Shoe about the constant spamming and this is what i said: Hopefully you have noticed the ginormous amount of spam in the TMK forums and how annoying it is. I really think that you have to enforce the rules a lot more. For one, TMK is losing members. I have online contact with a lot of long-time members of TMK and they are telling me that they hardly come here anymore because of all the new members and all the spam they create. When I first joined this site, Total-MK had the forum under control and none of the stuff that's going around wouldn't have gottan this far. I myself have noticed that I come to TMK less and less because of this problem.
Secondly, another thing that I wanted to point out: Recently you have locked two (and possibly more) successful topics in the forums and you claim that they are off-topic when they clearly aren't. You lock those topics, yet a bajillion other useless topics are still around and running.
I do not want to leave TMK or do not want to see it all spammed up, because it is well known to the MK community and is the first forum that I ever joined. I really want to see some changes here.

And when I created my sig, I put all my info there so people like yourself could help me. I know that my opinion is not the only one in the world and I welcome feedback. I close a thread an a bunch of people don't like that, so they message me and say "Well you should reopen Thread because: Insert reason." And I'll usually say "Ok" and do it.
The last thing I want is to lose a lot of regular posters like MKOnline has. I used to be a regular poster there for years and years. But modding and that has went downhill. The other problem is the influx of newbies.
A guy covers a topic so many ways before he gets tired of it, but for newbies it's new. So you see Boring
But hey, I always welcome feedback. I don't want to Nazimod, and I don't want to slack mod. I know I'm not the only opinion on the board, but unfortunately I'm the only mod here on a regular basis. TMK comes maybe once per week, and that's only after I email him to ban someone(s).
So please don't leave, but if you can help me out a little bit when our (meaning mine and others) differ, then feel free to tell me so. Smile I'm actually quite reasonably open.
As for my moding abilities, like I said, thrown to the wolves. So if I made an error or ten, I'm sorry about that. I do admit I went on a close thread spree with the whole saibot theory/ing thing.
And TMK knew they were one in the same beforehand. He had an email session from ING about him coming back under that exact name. And that was before I emailed him. It still took a week before TMK came in and banned him (I think he did, he hasn't told me).
TMK alluded to me being promoted to Admin in the future, if that is the case then I'd be better able to serve the community by issuing bans to the aforementioned user, and users like him.
Until then, I'll let you know what I can do: Close, Open, Delete, Edit any post, sticky and Unsticky.
That's the length and breadth of my powers.
As for what I said in the questions thread, just me being burned out. I'm sorry on that too. I have no wish to close that thread, I was just pressured by higher ups that it should be a conversation. Boring I don't know, I agree, but I think it should stay open because it is a good Q&A.
I put the comedy side in there so that there was more to comment on. If it really bothers you I can stop posting in that thread.

Even knowing shoe might have a lot on his hands could not change the fact that there is STILL spamming going on. I'm sick and tired of seeing. Topics like " Theres real life ninjas with super powers!!" WTF??? There is a lot more. I just do not like the fact that there is all this going on. I know plenty of members that want to quit. Total Mk is hardly hear ever because of his job obviously. If tmk would want help I would gladly help him. For now I am sick of the forum being flooded by retarded ropics by retarded n00bs who have no idea what they are talking about and making topics that most of us have seen MULTIPLE times. I'm sorry to the people that like me in this forum, Which is few, but once again I am sick of all the stuff that is going on. This is 1/4 of the reason I quit. I have reasons I would not like to post here. Also, this is the reason why I have not been posting here for quite some time now.

I know how u feel about it, I only got to this thread because Noob Saibot5 PM'ed me (thx  ) as I just skip over most new topics, or don't even check for new topics at all.
You guys have probably noticed that I'm not the most most patient or friendly person to spammer/new members  , but I really don't want to see good members leave.
Yeh they are annoying and spamming, but I'm sure once Shoe gets admin powers, or when TMK remembers how good this site could be, then it will all get better.
It's a test of our loyalty whether we can stick with TMK through this difficult patch

I just dont know anymore. There were days before when the forum was cooler than ice-cubes. Nobody I know can have a proper discussion on MK, here, I could talk to plenty of people about it and learn from them. But now, I find myself CONSTANTLY repeating "Stop spamming!" to people and its just getting tiresome.
Dont get me wrong, I was a newbie once and I made mistakes but these days the forums gone to potty. Everyday I go onto a discussion and I get asked poxy questions like "whats your favourite arena?" and "I dont understand the story". (1) Its been debated before what arena people like, if you took the fucking time to look through the forum you will find out and (2) Perhaps if you done your homework and actually payed attention to the game you would find out about the storyline!!!!!
Its just pissing me off how serious members of the forums are leaving. And does anybody even CARE about it? To the staff, its only 16 members or so leaving, they have thousands more members to worry about, even if those other members dont have a fuckin clue what they are on about.
I've made some good friends here who I have alot of respect for and who I will always remember, but these days I've lost all interest in this forum. So maybe it is time I throw in the towel.....
All of you out there who are reading this, I wish you the best of luck. To my friends on the forum, remember me every time you kick Kobra's ass.
For now, Noob Saibot5 is taking a break from the forum. Will I ever return? Thats a question I cant answer.

I can see youre point of veiw. You hate the spammers and there are other major problems (in youre vewi not mine) that are on the site. This is not really a valied reason to give up in my opinion as nothing in life is perfect and this site is ran the best way it can, do you know how hard it is to deal with every single spammer? Neither do I but it cannot be easy. Anyways we will miss you.
