ive really heard about rumors and heard a lot of rumors like dis
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the tentative title to the seventh interation of the Mortal Kombat fighting genre franchise. Currently slated for current generation consoles, Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is rumored to improve upon the current Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance/Mortal Kombat: Deception fighting engine and expand upon Mortal Kombat: Deception's expansive konquest mode. To keep pace with Midway's directive of a new Mortal Kombat game every year, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon will remain on current generation consoles and will not appear initially on Microsoft Xbox 360 or Sony PlayStation 3.i dont think the last bit is true

hmm. i hope it dosnt apper on the next gen concolse.i havent yet got one and would rather not have to get one just yet or too soon.

If Midway plans another fall release, then it will be for the Xbox 360 and PS2. The PS3 will probably release much later than the release of the next MK Game. But Microsoft has officially listed the last titles for the Xbox 1 and the last releases (both 3rd party and 1st) are no later than March of 2006 in the US.

Well that's good to hear, at least I can get to play in the PS2. Coz' if it was released in PS3 and Xbox 360, I will never get to play it. And also is Armageddon the official name for the 7th MK?

Yes, Armageddon is definitely the title to the new Mortal Kombat. Pretty much all the facts on here are correct (believe it or not). And Shoe's probably right, they most likely won't release it for Xbox 1, and just 360. But if I'm lucky they'll start production for both.
