Post subject: What is something you find irritating about games you like? |

For me personally it's the first Resident Evil. Because I remember when I first saw it, it was nice & spooky when & would play it at my aunt's place, but then you have to find out it's a bio/genetics corporation that's behind the monsters you see and to me that just murdered the horror I thought. I mean if you guys like Bio/Tech horror that's fine, but for me I just don't care for it personally. How about for you, What is something in a game you like but it has that one elemant that you hate so much that it prevents you from enjoying it, so you can't really enjoy the game anymore?

Yeah, that part sucks after beating the game she gets killed . 
Silent Hill 4: The Room- the girl that follows you around, once she gets beaten up by monsters, you receive a bad ending.

Firstly: Resident Evil in Japan is actually named biohazard. Blame Capcom USA to change it so that more people would buy it.
Second: What I hate most about a specific game type is in any game where you pilot/drive/command something(s) that can do massive destruction and they give you an escort mission. I hate that. If I wanted to escort crap around I'd play Escort: The game. Oh? There no such thing as an escort game? What a shock. Ever wonder why?! Cause Escort missions suck.
Threelike: Playing a game so many times it's lost most of it's appeal. There's nothing new, everything falls together at a timed pace, the magic is lost. For me this goes from FF to SMB to Diablo II. At some point it is just a matter of following a path. Nothing inspired anymore. Not the game's fault, my own for playing it to much. So I buy games in bulk, then rotate them. It keeps their flavor so much longer. Tetris has never gotten old for me though. Strange, puzzle games feed me. lol

Too short and not enough variation of task, yet I also find unique levels annoying as well such as driving levels in a fighting game.

Diablo II: Played the damn game on normal with friends online, beat it after a while, my friends are saying "hey, there's still alot more." Then you play it, and it just goes right to the beginning on a harder difficulty with all the same crap. I was so pissed off!
Fallout: Pretty much one of the greatest games ever created, spent so much time on it, but once you get to the end, you can't keep using your guy with all your stuff, it just...ENDS!
Zelda (which ever one had a time limit): The time-limit kills the fun of the whole game, I feel like I have to hurry all the time; too much stress!

Majora's Mask was horrible. I wish they had never linked it to Ocarina of Time, because it left a bad taste in my mouth. Numerous times, I would have to restart missions that I was almost done with, because I ran out of time.

Final Fantasy (any of them): After beain them over 50 times, they get kinda old.
Soul Calibur 3: To much shit to do, not enough pactence (Finally got EVERYTHING a few days ago)

Final Fantasy 9 got me pretty mad. after you fight Kuja (which is a really fun battle, by the way), you think it's over, but NO. out of nowhere comes the end boss, who you've never heard of or seen up until this point, and he stomps you a new one unless you have status protection against EVERYTHING.

what levels were your party? I used level 59 Amarant, Level 66 Zidane, level 57 Vivi, and level 58 Eiko. I beat the last 3 bosses in a total of 5 minuets easy...

oh I can whoop Necron's booty now. I have Zidane, Dagger, Vivi, and Steiner. they're all mid 60s, I'd say. it's just that the first time I faced off against Necron, I was like, "uhhhhhh... what's this? oh shit!" *dead* I think it's the mustard bomb (I think that's what you call it) that is the worst.
