Hmm, yeah, that would definitely be great... How come they didn't include toasty in the new MK games?
Sure, they're 3D, and it could be a lot harder to make it, but it might destroy at least a bit of seriousness of the game... Which is definitely good.

Well, Toasty was in MK4, with Toasty 3D for Scorpion's fatality of the same name. It was also used in Shaolin Monks and, albeit rarely, in Chess Kombat in Deception.

Yes, I know about the "Toasty Three-Deee" in MK4, but he didn't pop-up. ( )
I haven't played Shaolin Monks (yet).
And I didn't notice it in Chess Kombat, does he pop-up?

He doesn't pop in the 3D games, you just here his voice. Would be funny to see a detailed model pop up in MK9 though.

That's my point exactly. It would be pretty nice, and I think it wouldn't be too hard to make it, being that the HUD isn't moving at all... Ya know what I mean.
And, indeed, when does he say Toasty in Chess Kombat?

Well, apparently he's supposed to say it, rarely, when the "Kill" spell is used. It hasn't happened for me, but I've read that it happens.

-Sure, I didn't even want Liu Kang to die, but making him a zombie sucks even more.
-Motaro was so good as a centaur, that lazy excuse that he was punished just so they didn't have to make a four-legged system for him was just awful... But now when I think about it, that's what I would do.
-Aww, HE confirmed that?? No way... 
-Sindel in MK4?... Ok, that's just weird, she wasn't even popular... But I'm not gonna get involved in your fantasies...
