in sm u can only play as 8 characters when on story mode u can play 4 and 4 of them are 4 of the 8 characters dont u think midway should of made it have more characters u can play like goro

SM isn't a regular fighter, so I think 8 characters is ample enough.

The Title is "Shaolin Monks" not "Shaolin Shokahn"... Monks means Liu Kang and Kung Lao, specificly...There are 2 bonus characters thrown in for
Fun, but anymore than adding 2 Characters would mean the whole game would have to be changed.

Well, that's for story mode, I believe the vs. mode should have more of the characters from the first games. Especially the bosses...Goro and Shang Tsung...now I would've loved being Goro and kicking some Shaolin a**!

Hey now that I remember...
The name is Shaolin Monks right? , so why didn't they put Kai? He was from the White Lotus too as Liu and Kung.

I didn't hate kai. He had a nice feel to me when I played as him. He was as dimensional as a line, but the fighting 'style' was solid to me.

Yeah, I actually really liked playing with Kai for MK4, him, Fujin, and Reptile. But he couldn't have been playable in SM because Liu Kang did not meet him until after MK3. Nice catch though!
