It was the older Sub-Zero that wasn't in Mortal Kombat 3. Younger Sub-Zero was in MK3 however. The fact that classic Sub-Zero is in UMK3 causes some controversy. He's supposed to be dead, so why is he in a newer game? People have actually suggested that it is Sub-Zero IV, which is the two brothers' father. I'm not certain if we'll ever find out for sure.

As would I. It would be amazing if someone could work with the game designers and writers to create one or a series of actual Mortal Kombat books. Then they could add in all sorts of side stories, including the history of Sub-Zero's family, and characters like Chameleon and Kameleon.

So,accordin to this these are my opinions:
.stryker should stay
.ALL shokans should die
.Sub and Scorpion should stay
.MY FAVORITE CHARACTER KUNG LAO SHOOUULLDD RLYYY STAY!!!!
.Liu Kang should stay in his normal form
.Shinok should die
.mileena killed by baraka,and then baraka killed by kung lao
.Kitana Stays
.Reptile dies by Shinok's hand
.Johnny Cage KILLS Goro and nearly dies,but survive
.Raiden kills Shao Khan,and then Shinok Kills Raiden,And then Fujin Kills Rainden,And then Fujind dies,mysteriously.
.Shang TSung Kills Reiko,and then Darrius,so comes Liu Kang and kung Lao,Liu Kang Kills Shang TSung.And then he can use his human form and also the zombie form.
.Dariou is fighting demons in Order realm,where is now a battlefield,fulled of demons,then he dies trying to stop them.
.Kintaro is Killed by Sonya.
Kitana Kills a lot of demons,then survives.
.Sonya,Jax,Johnny Cage,Kabal and Ermac fight Kintaro and powerful beasts.Ermac dies but kill the beasts,kabal kills kintaro,but both die of injuries.
ect dies.

quan chi is more likely alive, they had him laughin at the end of shaolin monks to spark your interest. He's a great character which has good potential to expand on.

Shaolin Monks was a remake of MK2, so that doesn't affect what we're talking about.

I thought that Shaolin Monks was a filler, designed to tell the story of what happens between the first and second tournaments.

Technically, there was no second tournament. Since Midway is trying to make a true storyline out of this, they had to change some things from MK2 to make current games make a bit more sense. It was supposed to be a fix to all of the plotholes from the earlier part of the series. Whether or not it actually fixed them is another question.

Shoe knows what I'm talking about. Basically, MK2 was the beginning of the invasion of earthrealm, and the warriors took the fight to outworld. It wasn't an actual tournament that followed the tournament rules. Same thing with MK3, it wasn't an actual tournament, but the fight to rid Earthrealm of Shao Kahn.

Personallly, I loved Sheeva's MK3 style, but I'm finding her MKAr look too radically different.
I'm glad Sheeva's back because she is definately one of my favourite characters.
In response to a previous poster saying that Motaro isn't in it is untrue as far as we know, for nothing has been confirmed.
In the picture of the 60 kombatants, take a look at Tanya and Liu Kang, they are clearly MKD renders (Going so far as to display Zombie Kang), so don't get your hopes up.

No, that's MK Gold. MK: SF was for the psx
