The create-a-character mode is confirmed?
Although it's an awesome idea in theory, I don't know how it's going to work in this game. The beauty of Mortal Kombat is that is has a well-developed storyline, and each character has his own background that is interwoven with the other characters.
Creating your own character just throws a wrench into the whole scheme.

if you read just about any MK site, they confirm that Armageddon is scheduled to have 60+ characters.
