From the looks of the image we received, Blaze is the new boss. I would find that strange considering his storyline wasn't explained very well. He was originally a joke who fought some guy in blue pants (Hornbuckle) on a bridge way away from you, and we called him Torch! Anyone know what's up with this? Explain.

Blaze was standing on that bridge because he was forced to protect the last dragon egg. This egg is what eventually hatched in reptile's presence and the dragon king's soul took over and transformed Reptile's body. I'm not sure why they would make him a foe however, considering he was a good guy to start.

I mean explain why he would be the boss of Geddon. And Blaze was never really considered a 'good' guy. His plot and intentions were never explained. I'm guessing they weren't as 'good' as we had assumed.

I think at the time of MK2, Blaze was traveling on the bridge and was just then being forced to protect the dragon egg. I don't think he was protecting it yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong but last time in DA I heard that he escaped the Dragon Egg lair that he was supposed to protect and find those priests or Onaga's followers and kill them in making him do this deed or something.

if blaze that wood be good as long as he dont got snk syndrome rite. if u guys dont know wut that is it means that the boss is big n i mean big, life goes down slower than originals, inflicts more life than others, n is a bitch 2 beat in all. blaze wouldnt b like that. umm where did u guys get this whole blaze boss thing can ya show me jin out

And if Blaze was to be the next boss. What made him get that position as Boss. Did he get some sort of new power that might threaten to exterminate all the realms and its' inhabitants?

It's very possible. He was on a quest before he was forced to protect the Dragon King's egg, so maybe that original quest was for power.

Yes maybe that is it, Blaze's mission in obtaining more power for his sinister deeds. But we cannot be certain for who the main baddy will be it could be Shao Kahn or Onaga or maybe Shinnok.

Hm... I have been thinking a lot on this. The one being had used Onaga to bring it back together. Now that Onaga was proven to be defeated, the One Being needs someone stronger to take down everything. Now, we dont know Blaze's mission, so for all we know he COULD want to be the best in excistance. So, seeing this kind of lust for power, the One Being would give Blaze a chance give give him all its powers. Making Onaga Blaze's guarding (and sub-boss) would leave Blaze the ultimate tool for the One Being conquest to return the realms to one. Just a thought...

Actually I've been looking at those articles since before you joined this site. If you'd notice some earlier topics you'd see my quotes from there.
I have to agree with VainZiler, there's a good chance you are correct. I'm guessing Blaze was powerful enough for the One Being to want him as a vessel.
