I haven't checked out the new scans (slow a** connection sue me  ) So I don't know how well this will hold up in court. lol
Could it be possible that 'evil' Raiden is the next boss? I mean he's evil, Ashrah has lightning powers, rain has lightning powers, everyone else is coming back. Would it be possible that the one who tried time and again to unite the earth warriors snap and just decide that no realm was worth all the torture he's suffered?

I believe this is a very possible storyline and I would love it if it were true. I thought Raiden's story in Decepton was great and provided for a good follow up story. By the looks of the scans, and I am not the only one to have thought this, it is also very possible for Blaze to be the Boss (being in the back row on his own and being much bigger and 'boss-like' than he was in MK:DA). Raiden however is by the side in the middle looking quite normal and inconspicuous. To be honest the possiblities are quite endless with a 60+ roster, pehaps the boss is a new character completely.

I believe Blaze is the boss, I'm not sure what's up with Rayden. What is he now? Is he even the Protector of Earthrealm? God knows.

Fujin is still the new protector of Earthrealm as nothing have changed. But maybe in Armageddon Raiden will be the Earthrealm protector again

Their location in the scan really doesn't mean anything. I mean, look at it, on the left side alot of the girls are together: SIndel, Ashrah, Sonya, Kitana. All the big people are on the row in front of Balze because, well, they're big, like Kahn, Kintaro, Sheeva Moloch, Goro. Seroiusly, do you think Moloch or Sheeva are important because they're on the second to last row or Scorpion and Sub-Zero are least important cuz they on the bottom row? It's called randomization. Maybe they thought Blaze looked cool up there. Their armageddon theme could just be fiery, i mean the Armageddon words are fiery, and Blaze is fire. And plus with Raiden, he could still be evil, but thats not his real costume. I dont think they're gonna look the same as they did in Deception or Deadly Alliance, because most of the ppl in the scans have those outfits on. I saw a pic of Jade and she doesn't look the way she did in Deception. So he could be evil, we just don't know it yet.

Good point, although I'd say Scorpion and Sub-Zero being in the very noticable front row is not called radomization, its called advertising. I still think Blaze has a lot of boss potential and I think he would make an excellent boss character. If they did make him that size, easily outsizing previous bosses even with perspective against him, he would be awesome to fight with and againt, unless they do the old speed decreases as size increases theory. But that wouldn't come into effect with him being made of fire I guess. I'd still prefer it to be Dark Raiden though.
