On IMDB.com in the MKDeception forum someone who calls himself
"undergroundsoldier101 " has said what is in MK 7... He didn't say if this is what he THINKS or if he knows if it is FACT, but it's probably Bull!
Here's his list:
1. This is the last game of the series
2. It will contain almost every charcter (Motaro might not make the cut, hidden characters Meat (MK4) and Chameleon (MKT) won't be in it)
3. New Kreate-a-fighter lets you customize you're own charcter
4. You can also customize your fatalities
5. brand you death traps
6. you can actually fight your opponent in mid-air.
7. Konquest mode is just like Shoalin Monks.
8. 8-man online kombat (that's right you heard me)
9. only for Xbox and PS2 (not next gen)

2: I hope Kintrao and Shao Kahn apears in it!
3: It would be nice!
4: Great!
9: With all this stuff I find it hard to believe it will not apear on a next generation console! Nearly ALL characters on a PS2 and XBOX? WTF?
Also, bring it out for Gamecube/Revolution!!!!! And make sure it's over here in the UK this time Midway!!!!!!

This is not planned to be the last Mortal Kombat game, the idea is that the next generation consoles will have the next generation of fighters. I'm not sure what you mean about the death traps but the rest sounds about right.

Boy... are you behind the times...
1: Yes, last game of the SERIES AKA MK 1 through MK Deception.
2: Yes, over 60 characters INCLUDING Kintaro, Shao Khan, and Sector, all are 100% playable. Motaro will probably not make the cut due to programming issues and I don't know how many secret characters, if any, there will be.
3: Yep. And highly detailed too.
4: Sorta. It kinda goes... You put in a combination, then your character rips out the opponent's heart. You put in another combination, and then they smush the heart into the opponent's face.
5: Brand new deathtraps. yep.
6: In terms of combos. Knocking the opponent into the air and then jumping up and hammering on them.
7: Well, similar. I don't think there is a co-op mode.
8: Possibly. We're talking about tourniment style though.
9: Ed Boon said himself that they are going to put it on the current gen systems because that way you don't have to put out $200+ in order to see what happens in this final step of the series.
I would bet all $2 that I own that Gameinformer is following their Nintendo hating and simply not listing the fact that it's going to be on all 3 systems. I mean, DA and Deception were on all three, would make sense to put this one on all three.

Great it might be comeing out for Gamecube! But will it get a releace date about 4 months after PS2 and XBox?
What about a GC UK releace? I was MAD as Hell we I heard Deception was out on Gamecube but not in the UK!!!
And it had Goro and Shao Kahn for extras!!!
Arrghgrhghghrgghghgrhgrhgrhgrhrhgrgrh!

And sorry about being behind the times, I haven't heard much news and I though that DA and Deception had about 30 characters so pushing it to 60+ would be testing the machines, it would defiantly be possible on XBOX360 PS3 REVOLUTION etc, but I fear it may put other things in the dark like graphics and loading times etc...
