i'm not sure, but from the looks of this game, it is going to be an awesome game, as long as ed and the team make the release date much later.

To be honest, no. MKAR may be amazing for MK fans, but I dont it will be so great as to win an award.

Yeah I mean, it's not as if they revolutionising their gaming system (by the looks of it). All they're doing is indroducing aerial combat, which is a much needed element of modern fighters and should be great. But other than that they're just slapping an insane amount of characters in there. Just about everything else is either the same as Deception or the same as other fighters around at the moment, such as create a character. It'll have to be something really special to win an award.

The way I see it, if we all like it, who cares about awards? Besides, Deception was amazing, so adding to it will be just as good.

Very true, forget awards, this game will be awesome to any Mortal Kombat fan. Personally I don't keep up to date with awards, let alone game awards. I'm just looking forward to the game itself.

I think that the mk team will have quite a task in front of them. With all the new enhancements and that the console supportin the game is only the xbox system. I dont expect this to be a game with no glitches. This has a chance to be the most glitch filled game for midway. Either way I will be playin it.

Why would this be the most glitch filled when they're using the same engine from deception? They've had plenty of time to fine tune it.

Doesn't matter how much time they had to fine tune it...such a large game is bound to have unmatchable mistakes. Glitches pourin' out the a**...but like Slata said..."I'll still be playin' it."

This will really only be a game that appeals to the large Mortal Kombat fans sect as to be honest these game are not master pieces they are just fun and just fun just don't cut it in this business anymore. I also agree with the fact that a game this large is bound to have glitches that will disrupt enjoyment. This game would really have to be incredible in every way to be a "Game of the Year" and I just don't see that happening.
