i saw the endigs from mk4 and gold, i thought those were cooler than the screen shot, 3rd person endings.

I agree but with 60+ kharachters I don´t think there will be enough room on the disc.

I would love to see video endings again, it pissed me off to not see them anymore since MK4.

I don't really mind...but then again I'm not very picky. With video endings, there's not as much graphical detail and the words come from their quotes and not a third-person point-of-view. I prefer the two-picture, Shujinko-quote endings. But I think I'm the only one...

I prefer text based ending with pictures also. At least they provide detail as to what happened and who won rather than a short scene... and the images are pretty cool too. With Mortal Kombat 4 they were a big disappointment, Johnny Cage getting bood offstage for example. Or Reiko's... so vague people are still arguing about it to this day. Or Sonya's/Jarek's/Jax's where they were all pretty much the same. I think the only one I liked was Tanya's were Liu Kang got blown up, that was satisfying.

I liked Scopion's ending were he takes Quan Chi to the Netherrealm with him, or was that Sub-Zero's and Scorpions the one where they blow Quan Chi up?

it was Scorpions ending when Ouan Chi got taken to the Netherrealm.

The text style is better than the FMV ending. The two-picture was better. Shujinko sounded like a great narrorator.

It wouldn't be bad if it was an FMV one. But yeah since all of the kombatants will be in Armageddon it would be impossible to have FMVs and might not fit in the disc or something.

How do we know how much all of what we will get will take up on the disc? Everything except FMV sequences might be 70% So we will be able to have room for them!

I have to agree with what a lot of people in this thread have said, having ending movies for all the characters in the game would take up way to much space.
When it comes to game endings I think both picture and FMV endings can be good. FMV endings give you the obvious ability to see everything that's happening, but picture endings allow gamers to create a "mental video" in their minds. Sometimes you can better convey a message through pictures.

Yeah I gotta admit, Shujinko may be a naive old fool but he can narrate a damn good ending. The endings of Deception and Deadly Alliance where excellent, it reminded me of the first 3 games where they had pictures and text for the endings. And if you stick to the classical formula, then you cant go wrong if you ask me.
