i like reptile's reptilian form and human disguise, so to make everyone happy, they should just make his alt his human disguise.

Or rather, his first be human and his second costume his reptile form, so it would be like he takes off his human costume and is the reptile-monster.

I agree. Maybe the human look in Shaolin Monks is a sneak peek at the new Reptile. (just have both 1 and 2 players pick him)

That wouldn't make any sense though. They're de-evolving him, and since MKSM happened before MKDA, he would be further de-evolving, not evolving.

I prefer Ninja Reptile myself, but I thought that the devolution of such a popular character was a very brave thing for Midway to do. When it comes down to it, we have no control, but seeing as how Alternate Costumes are not linked in any way to the storyline, it is a possibility that Reptile's Alt will be Ninja style.

That would be awsome, but I think it would be cool if they brought back all the costumes. But that would take up a lot of memory and space.

Very untrue. In Deception, Liu Kang's alt. costume is his outcome of his ending (being brought back to life) so that would mean that at least some of the alt's are reality. It even shows in Sindel's ending that Reptile is back to his old self

I don't mind how Reptile looks, he is OK for me in Reptile and Ninja costume, and come on, the de-evolution that MK Team gave to Reptile was a very good idea, at least he was the first MK ninja that had his own outfit.

I said it once and I'll say it again, it don't matter to me in what Reptile looks like may it be human like in MK2, human-lizard like in MKSM, or pure reptile lizard from Deadly Alliance. As long as Reptile's gonna fight in Armageddon, thats fine.

didnt i already start this topic like a few weeks ago, and thats when everyone is like yeh he can de-evolve cuz the story line, so he can be a lizard for his default costume but maybe human or at least like shaolin for his alternate, or maybe look like the pic i posted

I'm sorry but topics like this have been made before and this message is always found in them:
Reptile is now a reptile. Get over it, he stopped being a ninja years ago. The way he looks in Shaolin Monks is the only human form he will ever have, unless they completely re-write his storyline and magically alter his genetics. The MK team have succesfully managed to make all ninjas different and unique, unlike back in MK Trilogy. Just let Reptile be Reptile, if we are lucky we may get a human costume but as we all know he is in his DA form, so his second costume is probably the Swamp Dweller outfit he wore in DA.

People are always forgetting that Reptile is devolving in mind, not in body. His ninja costume is a temporary disguise, he's always been a lizard.

What are you talking about? Reptile is devolving in body, and you can't say for sure that he is in mind as well. This is occuring because he's been seperated from his race, the Saurions, for way too long. If you're talking about his ninja costume from MK2 and 3, then that was just because they didn't expect to add such detail to the characters at that time.

Reptile used his ninja costume to hide his lizard appearance. After being seperated from his race and the death of Shao Khan, he started to go insane and was no longer capable of keeping a human disguise.
