Well if it is blaze then im shocked at how different he looks. He doesnt seem anything like the Blaze from DA.

well i saw another image with blaze but this time he is smaller so maybe he has 2 sides to him like to transform or sumin or the other big dude that we think is blaze probally aint blaze.

okay so this thread may be aging but i WILL make my reply.
1. (something iv'e been wanting to get off my chest for A LONG TIME:In the Pit II backround that is NOT Blaze and whoever that guy you ppl were talking about fighting him. That is Liu Kang setting an anyonomous(?) fighter on fire. the idea is 2 make the feeling of a real tournament like more than one fight is taking place at a time.
2. That is almost indefinitley the one being not blaze because blaze is to obscure( or at least he is to me) to ever be a boss, escpecially for an end all to the franchise like this is after all.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're wrong about Blaze and the other character "Hornbuckle".
You can't say it's the One Being OR Blaze, because none of us know for sure.

Perhaps the final boss is...'The One Being' who made the realms!  Maybe Onaga was able to merge the Kamidogu and the one being was able to come back, and is now trying to reshape the realms as he sees fit.

I hope that Shao Kahn is the final boss. It´s the ´last´ MK game with all the original characters. And Shao Kahn was the best boss

We can't be certain if it's Shao Kahn. Who knows, it might be the kombatant's main rival. Like example Scorpion, his final enemy is Quan-Chi or how about Jade, her final enemy is Tanya. Or even Mileena if it's either Baraka or Kitana. Anyways we will just have to wait and see this coming October 2K6.

I'd be a little disappointed if the final boss was Blaze...I mean yes he's massive in that picture but still, I'd like someone with a better story and background...It'd be interesting if it was the One Being or something like that, although I'm not sure how mear mortals could kill the One Being who created the universes and realms.

It cannot be the One Being, unless the realms are re-merged. The realms are the One Being's essence divided, so I guess you could get away with saying that he "created" the realms indirectly.

so maybe it could be that he has come back, but not at full power so the realms aren't completely merged or something..
