i think they should put every single costume used for the characters, that would be so cool like shang tsung in his old costumes, and reptile in his reptile and human form.

Well, I doubt that we'll get anymore the one alternate outfit for each character.
Besides, would YOU like to draw up, and implement those outfits into the game?

it is a good idea to an extent but like someone said in another thread there is to much to do to have 60+charicters and have each one of them have 6 or so more costumes, as well as the konquest mode and there is just too much to put out for ps2 i guess

And if that comes true, it wouldn't make sense, 'cause some characters like Tsung, in his first appeareance, he was old, another one is Reptile, how can you explain that Reptile is human, then lizard and then human again?!

Originally, Shang Tsung couldn't be swept because he didn't have feet. He floated. ^_^ So would that nullify all low attacks? I don't think they'll include all costumes.

What I think they should do is make a new inivative costume for everyone, then turn around and give them updated versions of their origanal costumes.

I imagine it wouldn't be much different from when Liu Kang went from a corpse to a living human again.

Well maybe if characters had 3 costumes and you could customize each 1 so you could add stuff and take away things you didn't like or change their hair, for example if you could add a cap on to Sonya.

Well the create a character feature seems to allow to you control all costumes for you fighter. Perhaps we can edit costumes from other fighters?

I don't think it will allow full on editing. It will probably just allow color changes, but you never know

Doubtful. If that's all they were allowing, then it wouldn't be worth it in any way. It wouldn't be hard to make some complex options. If they could do it in the original WWF Smackdown! for the PSX, they can do it here.

I'd love it if there was like a catalogue full of all available costumes for the fighter, and you chose the primary and alternate outfit.
Example: Mileena
Costumes Available: MK2 outfit (but of course updated) UMK3 Outfit, MK Deception Primary Outift, MK Deception Alternate Outfit, Mk Shaolin Monks Outfit, Plus 2 brand new outfits to choose from.
I know it would take ALOT of time since there are a vast amount of fighters, but just imagine if that could happen....it would be brilliant
