can someone help me out here, im wondering why cyrax' alternate costume is a black guy? i thought he was like a cyborg, thus meaning he was a machine or sumthin, so some kinda storyline help would be sweet

Cyrax was originally a human Lin Kuei warrior. He is of African descent orginally, but we didnt notice that until MKGold, because Cyrax was automated into a cyborg.

As I side note do you even KNOW the definition of a cyborg?
Cyborg: A robot created from a living being
Robot: A machine created to imatate a living being
Andriod: A robot designed to BE a human being.
Just a thought to through otu there.

Actually If you watch the old MK cartoons theres one about Sub-Zero and Smoke. IT explains their history. In a flashback seqeunce Sub talks about Sektor and Cyrax. It shows a still frame that pans up, and theres two ninjas. One in red, The other yellow. The one in yellow was black man, the one in red, white man. Ill let you conclude who was who.
This was also before MK4.FTW!
side-note; Now those episodes may not be cannon, But it was still right none the less.

Well, I don't think that program follows the storyline of the games 'cause there, Cyrax is white, and in the games he's a black guy.

Anyway, it´s strange. I thought that Lin Kuei is Japanese clan of ninjas. But I haven´t seen any black Japanese ninja before

You do not have to be Asian to be a ninja (or a Lin Kuei in this matter). I'm sure the Lin Kuei clan recruits outside of China.

has any one seen the movie "Enter the Dragon" with Bruce Lee. Abdul Jabar was in that movie. so all you really need to be a ninja or martial arts is to KNOW MARTIAL ARTS or the way of the ninja. Race and nationality have nothing to do with your abilities. I'm sure Cyrax is black and he can kick your butt with his net trap any day of the week.
